MY SAIL is in preliminary discussion with the Pacific NW’s largest yacht club to introduce multihull sailing in its junior sailing program. Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle, located in Shilshole Marina, has an extensive junior program using Optis and Vanguard dinghies. The club is looking to MY SAIL to provide sailing opportunities for kids either disenfranchised by slow sailing, or looking to cross train.
The partnership will help both programs expand dramatically as MY SAIL would gain a foothold with one of the most active yacht clubs on Puget Sound. CYC’s location at the north end of Shilshole Marina provides easy access to Shilshole Bay. The bay continually provides steady, medium breezes perfect for teaching kids how to sail.
